These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.spidex-express.com (the “Website”), operated by Spidex Express (Pty) Ltd (“Spidex”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.
1. Who we are

2. What this Website is — and is not
The Website is a general information and enquiry channel. It describes our services at a high level. These Terms cover use of the Website only. They are not a contract of carriage, a rate agreement, or a customs clearance mandate. Any logistics work we perform is governed by a separate written quotation, rate card and/or services agreement. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed services agreement, the services agreement prevails for that work.
3. Quotes and information on the site
Content on the Website is provided for general information and may change without notice. A “Request a Quote”, email or form submission is an enquiry, not an order. Prices, transit times, coverage and service descriptions are indicative only until we confirm them in writing. We may decline an enquiry, or make a quote subject to volume, commodity, customs status, destination and capacity.
4. Your use of the Website
You agree to use the Website lawfully and not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, our systems, or other users’ data; introduce viruses, scrapers or other harmful code, except for ordinary search-engine indexing; misuse enquiry forms, including spam, false identity, or information you are not authorised to send; or copy, scrape or republish substantial parts of the Website for a competing service without our written consent. You confirm that information you submit is accurate and that you have authority to send it, including personal information of colleagues or consignees.
5. Intellectual property
The Website, including text, layout, graphics, logos and brand names, is owned by Spidex or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your internal business evaluation of our services. You may not copy the brand, logo or site content for commercial use without our prior written consent.

How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy. By using the Website or sending an enquiry, you acknowledge that Policy.
7. Disclaimer
The Website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, we do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components; we do not warrant that Website content is complete, current or suitable for a particular shipment; and we are not responsible for third-party websites linked from this site. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spidex is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business, data or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website. Our total liability arising out of your use of the Website is limited to ZAR 1,000. This section does not apply to logistics services performed under a separate contract. Those services have their own liability terms.
9. Changes to the Website and these Terms
We may change the Website or these Terms at any time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Website after a change constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The courts of Johannesburg, Gauteng, have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from the Website or these Terms.
